코로나 시기에 만든 닫힌 원이다. 멀리 갈 수 없던 시기에, 한 자리에서 본 것들로 이어진 책이었다. 사 년 뒤 나는 한 좌표에서 가로로 긴 띠를 만들었다. 닫힌 원에서 열린 선으로.
두 책은 시각적으로 다르다. 한쪽은 흰 종이의 느린 톤이고 다른 쪽은 검은 종이의 빠른 선이다. 그런데 가장자리를 자세히 보면 둘 다 윤곽이 풀려 있다. 매체가 달라졌을 뿐 같은 손이다.
A closed circle made in a living room. Four years later I made a long horizontal band
from a single coordinate. From a closed circle to an open line. The two books look different, but both have loosened contours. The hand is the same.
